Interview with Josephine Leung, Architect of GOCO Hospitality: Personalized Welcome

Art of welcoming at GOCO Hospitality

What is your business approach to “the art of welcoming ”?

Providing unpretentious natural wellness hospitality to our guests is our highest mission and we deliver this through our personalized welcome experience. At the heart of GOCO Hospitality is a passionate belief that everyone is different, that one size doesn’t fit all. Everyone is seen and treated as individuals and guests will feel welcomed because our team members do. During the pre-arrival orientation three weeks prior to a visit to one of our GOCO Retreats, our team members discover the guest’s motivation to engage in a wellness program and use this to create a unique and personalized welcome–which will make first-time as well as repeat guests feel immediately at home. We strongly believe in creating a holistic wellness experience that extends beyond the guests stay and provide this through a fond farewell and our signature post-departure follow-up.  A spa visit is different due to its short lead-time, but we try to provide our guests with an equally warm welcome in our GOCO Spas, which we achieve through our signature welcome ritual and personalized treatments that are based on a detailed pre-treatment consultation.
